Our story

Williston's hometown venue.

Welcome to our family owned & operated event venue on our tree farm in North Central Florida. We take great pride in hosting weddings, showers, birthday parties, reunions, graduation celebrations, company events & so much more. We embrace our Old Florida land & pair it with southern hospitality to provide memorable experiences for you & those you love.

Meet The Langan Family

Adam, Betsy & Elizabeth

Greetings & thank you for taking the time to visit our farm. Our story started in 2015 with the purchase of our property from The Mays Family. We are the second owners to call this beautiful place home & take great pride in what we’ve built it to be today. We bought our land for a place to call home, having no plans for a farm or venue. Our vision found us through Adam’s love of agriculture & Betsy southern hospitality. In 2017, our dear friends Burr & Jamie Wattles married on our farm & that was the inception of what it is today.

Elizabeth, growing up on the farm

Over the years, we grew as a married couple, longing to start a family and deepen our roots in a community we love. The idea of having a venue on our tree farm was followed by our biggest blessing, becoming parents to Elizabeth. After a year into parenthood, the urge to share our talents & be business owners kept finding its way into our heads. Betsy having 20+ years of experience in the event industry, working all over the country, holding close attention to detail, valuing southern hospitality & Adam’s love of the land, paired with his incredible work ethic - the time had come for us to create something of our own.

January 1, 2021 we opened Langan Acres LLC. Williston’s newest venue made the front page of the local paper, the word got out & just a few months on the heels of Covid-19, our outdoor venue became the biggest buzz around town & in the Tri-County area. In 2022 the idea to add a new addition popped in our heads - a horse trailer transformed into a versatile mobile bar to use at Langan Acres & rent off-site to others too. Adam & his Dad, Robert Langan, got to work. After finding the perfect trailer, the engineering & craftsmanship came to life. Today, “Reese”, Langan Acres Mobile Bar serves guests in her own backyard & travels around to other events too. Her unique style, versatility & southern charm brings the “WOW” factor to all who encounter her.

Growing with the venue & watching our dreams come true, we knew it was time to share a passion of Adam’s that is literally the roots of our land. In December of 2024 we introduced the world to our product line - Cutwood by Langan Acres. This is our specialty wood that is processed here on our land by owner, Adam Langan. Cutwood offers cooking wood seasoned & cut from Hickory, Cherry, Oak & Pecan, homemade lump charcoal processed on-site - all natural, no chemicals added.

To-date, our farm & venue has been a labor of love - growing, learning & sharing. It is a true gift to be able to share with others our life that we’ve built, the land that we cherish & the moments we create by hosting your celebrations & gatherings.

Thank you for choosing Langan Acres & loving Williston’s Hometown Venue. Cheers to many more years!

With love & gratitude,Adam & Betsy Langan, Owners
