The standard we build to

This website is built to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA, the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines published by the World Wide Web Consortium. This is the most common standard for accessibility law in the United States.

Accessibility is part of how this site was built from the first day, not an afterthought.

What that means here

• 01Every color pairing on the site has been measured against the contrast the standard requires, on each background it appears on.
• 02Every image carries a text description for people using a screen reader. Purely decorative images are marked as decorative so they are skipped instead of read aloud.
• 03The whole site can be used with a keyboard alone, and whatever you are on is always visibly outlined.
• 04A skip link is the first thing you reach on every page, so you do not have to tab through the menu each time.
• 05Headings are in real order, with one main heading per page, so a screen reader can navigate the page by structure.
• 06Text reflows on small screens and stays readable when you zoom in.
• 07If you have asked your device to reduce motion, this site respects that & complies.

How it is checked

The site is tested with automated accessibility tooling against WCAG 2.1 Level A and AA, at both desktop and phone sizes, and it is checked again whenever the site changes. Automated testing does not catch everything, which is why the next section matters.
