Short version: what you tell us, so we can give you the most helpful information to support your decision making & event planning. We do not sell it, and we do not share it for advertising.

Who we are

What we collect
When you contact us by form, phone, email, or text, we collect what you give us:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your phone number, if you give it to us
- Your event date, event type, and anything else you tell us about what you are planning
We use it to answer you, fulfill your order, book and run your event, and to send you the reminders you asked for. That is all.
Every submission is screened for spam before it reaches anyone. That check looks at what you typed, your IP address, and how the form was filled in. Submissions identified as spam are logged for a limited period and then removed.
Text messages and your phone number
- No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
- Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third party.
If you give us your phone number and check the box agreeing to text messages, we may text you about your booking. That means tour confirmations, tour reminders, payment reminders, replies to your questions, and a reply if we miss your call.
Agreeing to texts is never required to book with us. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving texts, or HELP for help. Full messaging terms are on our Terms & Messaging page, and you can sign up on our Text Updates page.
Who else sees your information
We use a small number of service providers to run the business. They only handle your information to provide their service to us, and they are not allowed to use it for their own purposes:
- Our phone and text provider, so calls and messages reach you
- Our email provider, so we can write back
- Our booking and customer records system, so nothing about your event gets lost
- Our payment processor, if you pay us. We never see or store your full card or bank details.
We do not sell your information. We do not rent it. We do not hand it to advertisers. The only other time we would share anything is if the law required it.
When you visit our website
We use privacy-conscious analytics to see which pages people find useful. It reports patterns, not people. There are no advertising trackers on this site and we do not sell visitor data.
How long we keep it
We keep your information for as long as we need it to run your event and to keep our business records. If you never book, we keep your inquiry for a reasonable period and then remove it.
How to have it removed
Email info@langanacres.com or call 352-829-1153 and ask. You do not need a reason. We will remove what we are not required to keep, and we will tell you plainly if something has to stay.
Children
This website is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
